Customize your locator’s design
The widget should look like your website built it, not like a third-party box. Everything visual sits in the Customize tab, and the escape hatch is full custom CSS.

The Customize tabs, in order
- Themes: start from the default palette or switch to fully custom colours.
- Colors: accent, text, cards, icons, every meaningful surface has its own picker.
- Fonts: a curated Google Fonts picker, with an optional separate heading font for store names, or a custom font URL if your brand font lives elsewhere.
- Map Style: light, dark and branded map looks, plus your own marker image for store pins. The my-location marker stays the standard red Google pin on purpose, so visitors always recognise themselves on the map.
- Layout: list and map arrangement, maximum results shown, automatic centering (geo auto-locate), and the nothing-nearby card.
- Animations and Labels: motion accents, and every text in the widget editable, which is also how you translate it into any language.
- Buttons: per button (directions, website, my location) an icon, icon position and optional custom colours.
- CTA: a promoted card at the top of the results list, plus on Pro the nearest-store popup.
- A/B Test (Business): run two variants against each other on live traffic.
- Custom CSS: the escape hatch when you want pixel-level control.
Preview safely, save when happy
Changes show live in the preview pane while you edit, and nothing reaches your website until you hit Save. Settings can be exported and imported as JSON, which is handy for copying a look between locators.
The lazy route: I do it for you
Send your website URL to info@robinwessels.com and I match the locator to your brand, free, on any plan. You get a locator that looks native without opening a single colour picker.
